Salutary Neglect Ends
Salutary Neglect is an undocumented era when Parlament did not enforce the Navigation Act, where everyone in the British colonies had to trade, buy, and sell goods from England, Scotland, Wales. This ended with the end of the French and Indian war, and the enaction the Sugar, Stamp and Townshend Acts. -

Sugar Act enacted
The Sugar Act of 1764 is enacted, adding an extra tax on sugar in the colonies. This is one of the first taxes supposedly for mercantilism. The Sugar Act was repealed in 1766. -
Stamp Act Enacted
The Stamp Act, which required that on every piece of printed paper had to have the official revenue stamp on them. For every document with the official stamp on it, a tax was imposed. -
Townshend Acts enacted
A series of taxes, called the Townshend Acts, are enacted on the colonies. These taxes are protested by the colonies for "Taxation without Repesentation." The colonists did not choose anyone for Parliment, so they thought Some members of Parlament argues that the colonists had virtual representation, or that everyone in the British Empire was represented, with or without a person's choice or representitive. -
Boston Massacare
The Boston Massacare occured after a group of people threw snowballs at British troops. The British troops fired at the people, killing 5. -
Tea Act Enacted
The Tea Act, which allowed the East India Company sell tea to the colonists at decent prices. However, mercantilism is at play. The British Parlament approved the Tea Act so they can fool the colonies to pay their taxes -
Boston Tea Party
The Sons of Liberty, colonists who were fed up with the Tea Act, virtual representation, mercantilism, along with other things, sneak onto 3 East India Company boats, disguised as Mohawk Native Americans, and throw the tea overboard.

Enforcement / Intolerable Acts
These acts include the Boston Port Act (wiched closed the port in Boston becaus eof the Boston Tea Party), the Massachusetts Government Act (where either the governor or king appointed the officials in Massachusetts), the Administration of Justice Act (the governor could have someones trial moved to another colony, or even to England), the Quartering Act (where the colonists were required to let British Soldiers stay in their houses), and the Quebec Act (extended boundaies of British Columia) -
