    Siddhartha Gautama is Born
    Born in Nepal in a high ranking family, legend says he had the marks of a great man. If he stayed home he would be world ruler but if he left he would be a universal spiritual leader. Siddhartha finally after 29 years left home and went outside where he saw an old man, a sick man, a dead man, and a holy man at peace with himself. This inspired him to become a religious man and searched for religious truths.

    Buddhism is Founded by Buddha (Siddhartha Gautama)
    Buddha built a new religion on four main ideas known as the Four Noble Truths:
    1. Life is Filled with suffering and sorrow.
    2. The cause of all suffering is people's selfish desire for the temporary pleasures of this world.
    3. The way to end all suffering is to end all desires.
    4. The way to overcome such desires is to follow the Eightfold Path

    Christianity Founded
    Founded based of Jewish roots, when Jesus was born he attracted more followers as he preached of monotheism and how all Christians should praise only one God. Christian believe that Jesus' sacrifice for Christianity has led to their ability to reach salvation by following his teachings to honor his ultimate sacrifice to teach others.

    Craftsman from Germany creates the first printing press that used many new technologies in a new unique way. This process made it easy, efficient, and cheap to make books and writings. He also printed the first complete Bible which was the first full sized book printed with movable type.

    1. Reason: enlightened thinkers believed truth could be discovered through reason or logical thinking
    2. Nature: Philosophes believed that what natural was also good and reasonable
    3. Happiness: Philosophes rejected the medieval notion that people should find joy in the hereafter and urged people to seek well being on earth
    4. Progress: Philosophes stressed that society and humankind could improve
    5. Liberty: Philosophes called for liberties that English people had won in their Bill of Rights

    The Citizens of France became upset over the unfair Estate class dividing system created by the Old Regime. They soon overthrew the government and formed their own government. This new government led to a Reign of Terror by the dictator Maximilien Robespierre until he and the Revolution died/ended on July 28, 1794

    A new era in Britain that referred to the immense increase in machine made goods. Industrialization was controlling the resources required to run the machines and drive the revolution. Water Power, coal, iron ore for construction, rivers for transportation, harbors for trade. Most of these resources were known as the Factors of Production which were required to produce income and goods. (land, labor, capital (wealth)).

    After the Dictator Napoleon's failed expansion to Saint Domingue, he sold a large portion of France's land in USA. Thomas Jefferson, the US President, agreed to the amazing offer of $15 Million.
