The first 10 amendments are the Bills of Rights. James madison wrote the Bills of rights in New York city on December 15th 1791. Congress passed the rights in just a month. -

The Loiusiana Purchase was a land deal between the French and the U.S. The U.S. paid 15 million dollars to France for the new uncharted loiuisana land. Each acre was 2 cents and it was a big deal for farmers and colonists to expand. -

Merriweather Lewis and William Clark led a expedition through the uncharted land of the newly bought louisiana land. The Lewis and clark expedition spanned 8,000 miles and it took three years. They traveled down the Ohio river, up the missouri river, up the Continental divide and to the Pacific Ocean. -

Florida government and few soldiers to enforce the laws. Spanish Florida was a refuge for runaway slaves and Native Americans. The United States government along with General Andrew Jackson attacked Spanish Florida in order to gain the land as a territory and won. -

In the southern states for their removal to federal territory west of the Mississippi River, to exchange for their ancestral homelands. Ohama ,Nebraska to San Fransico california. The railroad was a much faster route to travel and to sell crops to each state. The railroad was 1,776 miles long and served for the Atlanic and Pacific coasts of the unites states.
