    After the Indian Removal Act, all indians had to move West into OK and NE. The Cherokee were forced to go on a long march to get to their new territory which was called the Trail of Tears.

    After the two countries of Britain and the US quarrelled over who claimed the territory of Oregon, they finally came to an agreement. They decided to split the territory in two parts, so both countries still had land. The US got the southern part and Britain kept the northern part.

    When the Americans started moving Westward, they hit Mexican territory. The two countries started a war because of the invasion of Mexico's territory. American won the war and gained territory from Mexico for only $15 million.
