    Belonged to U.S and Britain. Included Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and parts of Wyoming, Montana, and Canada. It had very fertile soil, mild temperatures all year round, and it rained often. Oregon Country also had many forests full of beavers and animals with fur attracting fur trappers. The oregon fever was between 1820-1840.

    Wagon trains travelled to Oregon Country (that was half controlled by the U.S and half by the British) from Independence Missouri hoping to start a new life with more oppurtunities. In 1843 the first train left. The trail took 50 months and you had to travel 2000 miles. On the trail you had to overcome many obstacles such as rivers, floods(spring), heat(summer), snow(winter), and the fast spreading diseases.
