    Eli invented a cotton gin machine that would help speed up the process of the removing the seeds from the cotton. Eli's invention allowed the number of slaves to be increased and how to remove the seeds in a much orderly and faster way.

    A really big deal (a buying of land) between the United States and France. That day the United States purchased about 827,000 square miles west of the Mississippi River for only $15 million.
  • Lewis and Clark Expedition

    They went on an expedition through the uncharted American interior to the Pacific Northwest. Their expedition expanded up to 8,000 miles (13,000 km) they traveled to many different places to make many discoveries.

    A wagon road that stretched 2,170 miles from Missouri to Oregon's Willamette Valley. It wasn't actually a road it was endless prairies, desert, and many mountains.
  • Indian Removal (Trail of Tears)

    About 125,000 Native Americans lived in hundreds maybe even in a bigger part of land in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina , and also in Florida. By the time the year was over there was only a few amount of Natives living in those areas mostly because they were enslaved by white people.
