Mouth tries to commit suicide
Pg. 198 Scott comes in to school one day and sees a bunch of crowds talking. Scott asks what happened and they said that that weird kid tried to kill himself. Scott thought it was Lee and got worried, but he later found out it was Mouth. -
Wesley pulls up to a mini-mart with Scott to get money back from these three guys.
Pg. 217 It was just another day until Wesley gave Scott a car ride. Scott thought that it will just be a cruise, but Welsey sharply turns into a mini-mart, and says that these guys have been dodging him for weeks. Scott gets scared about what could happen, but after that, Scott got out of the car and walked up with Wesley. All Wesley wanted was money that they owed him, and there wasn't a fight that went down. -
Scott finds out Bobby can't read.
Pg. 225 Scott thinks he wrote an amazing article for the paper, and he wanted Bobby to read it, but he refused. Then, he finally convinced Bobby to read a passage of Tuck Everlasting, and Bobby fails terribly. Then, Bobby gets frustrated that he can read and started getting mad at Scott because he is embarrassed. -
Bring Your Child to Work Day
Pg. 228 It is BYCTW Day and his Dad brings Scott to his job, and he is amazed at how professional and mature his dad is, so he is proud. Also, Scott realizes that he understands Spanish since a Spanish couple asked a question to his Dad, who did not know spanish. -
Scott fights Kyle
Pg. 239 Scott asks Kyle to mention him to Julia, since he is so head over heels about her, but Kyle snaps back in a rude manner, then they get into an argument. Eventually, Kyle makes fun of Scott talking to Lee and calls her a Freaky B**ch, and Scott finds out that Kyle was the one who wrote the explicit poster, so Scott goes all out and tackles Kyle, and he was surprised how easy it was to fight him, since he was a wrestler. -
Lee asks Scott to the dance.
Pg.242 One day, Scott finds a note sent to him that was Lee asking him to the dance. Scott thought it was classic Lee humour, so when he confronted Lee again, he acted like it was a joke, but it was not and Lee´s feelings were hurt. -
Kelly, Kyle and Vernon devise a plan for Vernon to beat up Scott.
Pg. 244When the word breaks loose of Scott liking Julia to Vernon, and Kyle wanting revenge, they devise a plan to surprise attack Scott in the all-purpose room. Kelly tricks Scott to go in there, and Vernon comes from behind of Scott and jumps him, leaving Scott confused and bruised. -
Julia asks Scott to the dance
Pg. 255 When Scott is walking back from the library, he hears a Mustang pull up with Julia and Vernon arguing in it, and Julia walks out of the car and starts walking home with Julia.Then at the end, an unexpected event happens and Julia asks Scott to the dance, and Scott says no. -
Bobby leaves for Nashville to play music
Pg. 258 When Bobby gets a call up from his friend that they got a gig, Bobby is skeptical whether to go or not because of his funds. When Scott hears this, he convinces Bobby to go because it is a once in a lifetime opportunity. -
Lee goes to the dance with Scott
Pg. 265 After continuous begging from Scott, Lee finally says yes when Scott pulls up to her house for the dance in a Limo. The irony is that Scott died his hair for Lee, and Lee took out the pins and died her hair brown to look normal. -
Scott´s mom goes into labor the night of the dance
Pg. 266 As Wesley drives Scott and Lee to the dance, they see the ´vette on the side of the road smoking with Scott´s mom and dad. It turns out that his mom went into labor, so they get her into the limo and drive her to the hospital. -
The ending/ resolution
Pg. 277 The resolution is when school ends. Wesley, Lee and Scott hang out and we find out the new baby boy´s name, Sean. Also, Scott has few and far between been writing in his journal.
