    -Focused on woman's right & woman suffrage
    -Susan B. Anthony & Elizabeth Cody Stanton both were publisher &editor
    -They establish the revolution during period when a split was developing with the woman right movement
    -Together they provided leadership for ending slavery in the U.S. in 1865
    -Woman rights movement had greatly reduced its act during civil war

    -The purpose of the 'People Party' was to increase in the money supply to help for farmers and workers
    -The proposed were to mainly towards struggling farmers and desperate laborers
    -The movement is associated with grange (the farmers movement)

    -The assassin was Charles J. Guiteau
    -Shot at the president twice,but only 1 bullet directly impacted him
    -Reason Charles shot him was he was turned down from a job by the president,mentally unstable,believe God told him to
    -Charles wrote a poem,"I am going to Lordy" to Garfield about his own death
    -Garfield lived for a couple months but soon died from an infection

    -Black train passenger homer plessy refused to sit in a jim crow car,breaking a Louisiana law
    -Blacks were still being treated as the interior race
    -The decision established the of " separate at equal" which allowed states to maintain segregated facilities for black & whites as long as they provided equal service

    -The Klondike Gold Rush was an event of migration by an estimated 100,000 people prospecting to the Klondike region of north-western Canada only 30,000 actually made it to the klondike
    -Gold was discovered in many rich deposits along the Klondike River
    -Newspapers created a hysteria that was nation-wide and many people quit their jobs and then left for the Klondike to become gold-diggers.

    -Law required labeling of any drugs that are addictive including alcohol, morphine, opium and cannabis

    -Nation needed a way to Strengthen the ways in which banks
    -This Act divided the nation into 12 districts and established a central bank in each district
    -The federal Reserve banks could issue new paper currency in emergency station and members banks could use the new currency to make loans to their customers
    -By 1923 roughly 70% of the nations banking resources were part of the federal reserve system
