The Dawes Act
This act was passes by congress to "Americanize" The Native Americans. The act broke up reservations and gave a little bit of the reservation land to the Natives. About 160 acres to each Indian The seventh Cavalry slaughtered as many at 300 unarmed Natives and left their corpses to freeze. That act was known as the battle of Wounded Knee. -
Battle of Wounded Knee
Custors old regiment went and gathers the hungry and freezing Indians and took them to a wounded knee camp in South Dakota. Then they order the Natives to give up their weapons. Then a shot was fired but its not known which side it came from and the soldiers opened with a deadly cannon.
