Causes of the warThe British made it so the Americans couldn't trade with France. They captured American ships and made them work for them. The Americans didn't like this and since teh ritish were already fighting they declared war. -

The British were easily winning the battle until an American troop snuck up and managed to back the British away. Brock led a counterstrike but failed and died.
