Battle of Lake Erie
On September 10, 1813 Captain Oliver Hazard Perry sails out on a small fleet that he builds to meet the British. Both sides have lots of casualties but the British eventually surrender. -
Battle of the Thames
On October 5, 1813 General Harrison orders cavalry to charge at the British which causes their defense to break, while the Native Americans continue to fight until Tecumseh dies. After Tecumseh’s death Native American and British alliance weakens. -
Creek War
On March 27, 1814 in what is now known as Alabama General Andrew Jackson and his army attacked the main Creek base. After several battles the Creek Indians surrender and give up millions of acres of land. -
