    Only white male adult land-owners can vote

    All male former slaves are permitted to vote

    Female adult citizens are permitted to vote

    Allows voters of the District of Columbia to participate in presidential election

  • 24th Ammendment

    Poll tax is banned in federal elections

  • Voting Righs Act of 1965

    Protects rights of minority voters and eliminates literacy test

  • 26th Ammendment

    Minimum voting age is set to 18
