13th Amendment
abolishes slavery
once they abolished slavery African Americans wanted more rights to do stuff like everybody else specifically to vote and that led to minority males can vote then when that happen it made southern states try to prevent them from voting and sense African american minority could vote so did woman and then a lot of changes happen to make voting for everyone no mater race or ethnicity and just yeah -
15th Amendment
minority males the right to vote
when minority males could vote it increased the amount of people who voted to woman they wanted to vote sense minority males could vote too increasing it more to females, minority males and white man. -
laws to take voting rights from African Americans
many southern states passed these laws.
these laws made it harder for African Americans to vote and this lead to tax to vote, testing before voting and the grandfather clause. leading it to the supreme court find most of these things unconstitutional and and leading to the Voting Rights act. -
literacy tests are constitutional
they can make them take tests before voting
deciding weather or not they can vote -

you can vote no matter if your grandparents were slaves or not.
this is important because it made it much easier and fair for African Americans to vote and it based it on who you are not who your grandparent were, it gave African Americans more equality not a lot but a little when it comes to voting. -
19th Amendment
woman's rights to vote
why this even is important because it gave rights to woman almost everyone the right to vote, no ,matter race, ethnicity, or gender, this lead to more equality for everyone in the long run -
poll taxes are constitutional
paying to vote is okay to do.
this event lead to the ban on poll taxing making it much easier to vote for African Americans. -
24th Amendment
outlaws poll taxes.
why this is is important is because it makes it easier for African Americans to vote it helps them get closer to complete ease to vote, you don't have to pay your grandparents could be slaves and still vote you could be African Americans or Woman to vote and its steps closer to the voting rights act. -

why this is important is because it made everyone have the right to vote no matter the color of your skin, your gender, your ethnicity, its steps closer to almost complete equality between everyone no matter race etc.
