This even lead to increased voting right because even though the slaves were only free, they were a step closer to getting their voting rights. This event helped them get their freedom back and with freedom came their right to vote. -

This even is important because it gave them the power to fight back. After they took their voting right away, they faught for it back and this even lead them to get their rights back. -
Supreme Court rules that literacy test are consititutional
This even lead to African americans having to take a test that made them say something about the constitution if the whites didnt think it was right then they couldnt vote. -
Supreme Court decclares "Grandfather Clause" unconstitutional
This event is important because, the supreme court realized that is was not okay to take someone's voting rights away just because their grandparents could not vote. If they would have kept that Clause it could have stopped many familys from voting, That's why it's important that it was declared unconstititutional. -

This event is important because it gives women the right to vote now. -
Supreme Court Rules that Poll Taxes are Constitutional
This event lead to more descrimination. THis lead to discrimination because the poor people couldn't vote and some were African Americans from the south. -
