This was a huge turning point for slaves. It allowed many of them to vote. -
The 19th Amendment
This amendment granted the right for women to vote. It still exists today. -
Supreme court rules poll taxes are constitutinal
The supreme court ruled that poll taxes are constitutional. The states that taxed this were in the right. -
24th Amendment
This outlaws poll taxes fro being unconstitutional, and it was wrong to charge people to vote when they already had the right. -
