Massacre at Kent State
In 1970 American troops had invaded Cambodia. Their intention was to destroy all of the military bases that belonged to Vietcong. May 4, 1970. Kent State University in Ohio had experienced something a little crazy. National Guard soldiers fired at demonstrators without any order to do that. Invasion of Cambodia
Cambodia had gotten attacked by the American and South Vietnam troops. They had destroyed there bases that had supplied care to all of the Viet Cong people. During all of this there was a 60 day operation, thousands of weapons were captured and over 10,000 Viet Cong people were killed during all of this. -

The United States had gotten there troops out of Vietnam right before the peace agreement collapsed. North Vietnamese captured Saigon, which was South Vietnam's capital. It was now under communist rule and they renamed Saigon to Ho Chi Minh City
