    OXO, a Tic-Tac-Toe video game, was created by British professor A.S. Douglas. This was one of the first games created in the history of video games. It was created as part of Douglas' doctoral dissertation at the University of Cambridge. Although OXO is one of the earliest known games to display visuals on an electronic screen, it lacked moving graphics.
  • Tennis For Two

    Tennis For Two
    This video game was said to be the first game that was played with two separate controllers. William Higinbotham designed Tennis For Two to display at the Brookhaven National Laboratory's annual public exhibition. He created this game after he discovered that the Model 30 analogue computer could simulate trajectories with wind resistance. The game shows a tennis court vied from the side, and players try to hit the ball over the net by pressing a button.
