A canteen and recreation centre, called H.10, opened at 59a Belvedere Road, Lambeth (i.e the Embankment). It consisted of two rooms accommodating eight men. -

Lease of Aird's Wharf as a night shelter. There were places for 20 peole sleeping on canvas and 240 on the floor. -
53,000 meals provided for destitute veterans
During the Winter of 1934-35, the Ex-Services Fellowship, later to become Veterans Aid, provided 23, 091 nights of shelter and 53,382 meals for destitute former Service men. -
Cost of feeding residents is 7p per day.
December 1936 – The audited cost of providing residents with three meals a day was just over £0.07 (7 pence). -
