    Day 1~ Vacay to PIcardy, France

    Enthralling landscapes will draw you to the beaches. The food chouces are spectacular, because food is everything. The Hostels are neatly kept.

  • Day 1~ Food

    I had a cheesy filled pizza thing from Anatolie, in Amiens, Picardy. This was the first meal in France. For the second meal, I got the warm asparagus with ravigote sauce. Ravigote sauce is made from a lot of spices and seasonings as well as mustard, red wine vinegar, and a cooking stock of your choice. I chose to dine at Le Porc Saint Leu because of the great rating and amazing reviews.

  • Day 1 Living~ Amiens, Picardy

    I chose to stay in 1 hostel for the duration of the week. Auberge de Jeunesse HI Amiens is the hostel I decided on. This hostel has a large variety of breakfast options. It has spacious living with 20 beds per dorm.

  • Day 1~ Tourist Attraction site

    I went to Musée de Picardie (Museum of Fine Arts). This museum contains many statues. The building itself is a piece of art. The building has pillars and designs included in the frame. Musée de Picardie houses Picardy's collection from society. I chose this museum because I like to look at others works of art and see their point of view on that time period.

  • Day 2~ Food

    For the first meal of the day, I got a crepe from La Creperie d'Aumale, in Chantilly, Picardy. I chose to eat at a creperie because crepes are delicious. Crepes in Europe are different from crepes in America, so I thought I'd try it.

  • Day 2~ Tourist attraction

    On day 2 of visiting Picardy, I went to La Purte Saint-Denis, this is a beautiful archway made in 1672. The archway gives viewers a look into the past. Also, this would be a fantastic opportunity for people who love photography, like me, to take a picture of the archway.

  • Day 2~Souvenir

    In Chantilly, I bought some chocolate to bring home. I got this chocolate from Juliette Et Jim because of the amazing reviews it has gotten. There are several types of chocolate home made at this shop. I chose to get two raspberry chocolates.

  • Day 3~ Food

    For a brunch, I went to Le Glacier, which is a waffle, crepe, and ice cream place. I got a crepe for 10 euros. Le glacier has a gorgeous outdoor seating area.

  • Day 3~ Souvenir

    In Saint-Valery-sur-Samme I bought a pair of fuzzy slippers. They were 55 euros from Saint James clothing store. I can never have enough soft slippers because my feet are always cold.

  • Day 3~ Tourist site

    In Saint-Valery-sur-Samme I went to Galerie Maznel. Galerie Maznel is another art museum. It's home to many eccentric pieces of art. There is no admission fee. I went to this art gallery because I love art.

  • Day 4~ Food

    At Le Kiosque I had the Bue con salsa al Pepe. It is dark meat with gravy and potatoes with vegetables. Also, at AU Bistro de Jeanne i had dark meat with gravy and potatoes with vegetables. I would have tried both similar meals and compared them to decide which is better.

  • Day 4~ Tourist attraction site

    In Beauvais, I went to the Beauvais Cathedral. The Beauvais Cathedral was a 13th century church. I was lured to this Cathedral because of the captivating beauty of the outside, only to find the inside is even more alluring.

  • Day 4~ Souvenir

    I bought a pair of ear rings at Galeries Lafayette Beauvais. They were 4.95 euros. I bought a pair of ear rings to give to my best friend, Izzy, because I know she would like them.

  • Day 5~ Food

    On day 5 of my trip I ate Potato mousse and haddock, grenadine onion petals and dried breast for one of my meals. I went to Le Carre Gourmand, a restaurant in Le Crotoy. I chose to go here because of the amazing revieews from costomers. Also, I went to Le Carre Gourmand because of the accurately priced menu.

  • Day 5~ Tourist Attraction Site

    I went to Caleche ma Baie de Somme to see the landscape. This is a horse drawn carriage tour around the town and coast. Although it was chilly, the view was stunning.

  • Day 5~ Souvenir

    At New look I bought 3 things. I got a pair of leggings for 12.99 euros. I also got a pair of rose joggers for 19.99 euros. For the third item I bought a set of ear rings and necklace for 14.99 euros.
