The colonists won the battle. This caused the British to surrender the battle and the war. -

Right to bear arms. This allows citizens to buy and own firearms. -

Searches and Seizures. This places restrictions on unreasonable searches and seizures against citizens. -

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury. -
1st Amendment
Freedom of: Religion Petition Assembly. this allows citizens the freedom to worship any god, or rally at any place. -
3rd Amendment
Quartering of Soldiers. This restricts soldiers from having the right to force themselves into your home for shelter. -

The Bill of Rights is the first 10 Amendments of the constitution. this set the base of the new culture the U.S was becoming. -
Emancipation Proclamation
Lincolns new passed law during the war. This free'd all current slaves in the north and the south. -
Appomatox Courthouse
The south surrenders to the north at the Appomattox courthouse and ends the war. this means america is now a country of free citizens. -
Transcontinental Railroad
The construction of the transcontinental railroad connected half of america. this made it easy to transport anything anywhere.
