A war between France and Britian over the control of land and the fur trade. Also known as the Seven Years WAr. The british win and they gain control of the mississippi river and land east of the river. -
Proclamation of 1763
This proclamation prevented colonists from settling to the west -
Sugar Act
This act raised the tax on sugar to pay for the war. -
Stamp Act
The Stamp Act raised taxes on stamps. This effected people who sent letters and people who needed official government documents. -
sons of liberty
Established by Samueal Adams. It was a secert society that protested the taxes set on the colonies by England. -

This was the reaeal of the Stamp Act by British Parlaiment in 1766 -
Townsend Act
The Townsend Act repeals the Stamp Act. I don't have an exact date, but it was put in place in 1767. -
Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre is an event in which british soldiers fired on a crowd of American citizens. -

The Committee of Correspondence rallied opposition against the British rule in the colonies on Noverember 4th, 1772. -
Tea Act of 1773
This Act granted the East India Trading Company the taxes of the tea in the American colonies -
Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was a protest on the tea tax and colonists dressed up as natives and threw tea crates into the Boston Harbor. -
Intolerable Acts
The Intolerable Acts were acts passed by british parliment on the colonies after the tea party. -
Lexington and Concord
The very first battle of the American Revolution was placed in Lexington and Concord on April 19th 1775. The American Patriots won the battle.
