This began as a street between a Patriot and a squad of British soliders. They were trowing sticks and rocks, several people were killed. -
Committee of Correpondance
A shadow goverment of the Patriots. They tried to govern the 13 colonies. -
Tea Act
This was the final straw of un-wanted tax and policies. -
Boston Tea Party
This was a protest, by throwing tea into the ocean. Also to rebel again the British. -

It denied the right to an elected legislative assembly. Passed religous reforms that were highly favorable. -

The fighting took place on Breed's Hill in Massachusetts. The British was planning to surround the city. -

A petition that was adopted by the 2nd Continental Congress. This was adopted to avoid war between the 13 colonies. -

Thomas Paine wrote this book. It was the most popular book at the time. -
Declaration of Independance
This document was signed by 56 delegates. About 20% of the American population during the revolutionary war was were Loyalists. -
Treaty of Paris
John Adams signed this treaty.
