9 colonists formed the Stamp act Congress to protest King George which pushed the revolution a little more -

Colonists revolted the taxes by throwing tea into the Boston Harbour showing that they don't like getting pushed around leading to more and more of the revolution -

The intolerable acts were passed as a retaliation of the Boston Tea Party which pushed the colonists a little farther to the revolution line -
