    The Treaty of Paris
    The Treaty of Paris ended the American Revolutionary war on September 3rd, 1783. Great Britain acknowledges the colonies to be independent and the United States become a country. The Treaty was signed in Paris, by John Adams, John Jay and Benjamin Franklin.

  • The War of 1812

    The War of 1812
    United States declares war on Britain, this military conflict lasted from June 1812 to February 1815. The war was fought between the Unites States and Britain with its North American colonies and its native American allies the war was fought at sea and land the Us armies invade southern Ontario but are defeated. The treaty of Gent was signed and the United States became a country.

    Canadas Confederation
    The British colonies decided to have several conferences from 1864 to 1867 to agree on terms of the Confederation.
    On July 1st, 1867 the conferedation final agreements were made by New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec and Canada offically became a country.For my information click here

    WW1
    WW1 started in Europe and lasted from 1914 to 1918. The war began when Britain declared war on Germany. Canada was automatically brought into the war as it was a British domain, however, the Canadian government had the freedom to decide its level of involvement. The United States only entered the war in 1917 which ultimately turned the tides against Germany the war ended with the treaty of versailles in 1919.

    WWII
    WWII was a global war that went from 1939 to 1945. The war began because of the invasion of Poland by Nazi Germany. The war was fought primarily in Asia. There were two alliances formed during this war referred to as the allies and the axis. The allies consisted of Britain, USSR and the United States and Canada. The axis consisted primarily of Germany, Italy, and Japan.

    September 11th, 2001, started out like any other day, however at 8:46am a series of terroriest attacks brought the world to its knees.
    A series of four coordinated terrorist attacks were excuted by Al-Qaeda, an Islamic terrorist group.
