It was a plan to unify the colonies so they could defend themselves against the French. It did not gain support of the colonies. -
George Washington assaults Fort Duquesne
Brittish Troops were ambushed by French and Native Americans. General Braddock was killed and Washington led survivors back to Virginia. The English later forced the French to abandon the fort and renamed it Fort Pitt. -
the French and Indian War concludes
The tree of Paris of 1763 ended the war and marked the end of France as a power in North America.
