    The Election of 1860 took place over six weeks and was a narrow winning for Abraham Lincoln. There were many conflicts over candidates for the north and south.

    The Battle of Shiloh was during the Civil War times. A fight between the Rebels and the Yankees started, with the Hornet's Nest as the battle line. The battle ended with the South retreating to Corinth.

    The Battle of Gettysburg lasted three days. It was a fight between hte Union and the Confederates at Gettysburg, Virginia. The fight ultimately ended with the Confederates retreating, but there wee great losses for both sides.
