    This is any party that has failed votes to outpoll either of the two strongest rivals. The third parties politics forces to address any issues that haven't previously addressed very much. They can also take away votes from one of the major political party candidates.

    This was a bombing that occurred near Chicago's Haymarket square. This was an organized movement in America, people were fighting for their rights like the 8 hour workday. The people involved in this riot were seen as martyrs.

    This amendment established the prohibition of alcohol beverages in the United States. After this amendment was passed there was a significant reduction of alcohol. It was illegal to transport and sell alcohol.
