Pequot War
The Pequot War was a war between the Pequot tribe against an alliance of the Massachusetts Bay, Plymouth, and Saybrook colonies who were aided by their Native American allies. A lot of people were killed and some were captured and sold into slavery. -
Banishment of Roger Williams
Roger Williams was tried by the General Court in October of 1635 and he was convicted of sedition and heresy. The Court had decided that he was spreading "diverse, new and dangerous opinions." He was then ordered to be banished. -
