Scientific Revolution
The Scientific Revolution was a time when scientist began to research things that the church "claimed to know the answer to". A result was the church losing most of its power over the people. This revolution made people think outside the box to come up with new theories and explanations for things we don't yet understand -
Galileo Supports Heliocentric Theory
When Galileo supported the Heliocentric theory he was hated by the church because the this theory counter the geocentric theory. Galileo discovered that the Earth isn't the center of all existence, it isn't even in the middle of our solar system. He found out that the Earth, like many other planets, orbits a sun. The church tried to shut him up by threatening to imprison him, kick him out of the country, or kill him. Even when he was told to stop researching, he continued and the rest is history -

Hobbes’s Leviathan is published
In this book Hobbes tried to explain what he thought leviathan meant. According to britannica.com: "Hobbes argued that the absolute power of the sovereign was ultimately justified by the consent of the governed, who agreed, in a hypothetical social contract, to obey the sovereign in all matters in exchange for a guarantee of peace and security." which I think basically means that the only reason that a country or group would have an absolute ruler would be because they needed peace and security. -

Glorious Revolution
The Glorious Revolution according to history.com: "The Glorious Revolution, also called “The Revolution of 1688” and “The Bloodless Revolution,” took place from 1688 to 1689 in England. It involved the overthrow of the Catholic king James II, who was replaced by his Protestant daughter Mary and her Dutch husband, William of Orange." This was a very bloody revolt and it took place in England and lasted only 1 year. -
Locke’s Two Treatises on Government is published
In this book Locke believed that the divine right of kings was a very stupid excuse of someone being a king or a ruler. He stated in this book that there should be an elected leader instead of the thought of god choosing our leader. -

This encyclopedia was used to explain everything from science to art to language and much more. This was the first French encyclopedia. -

Louis XVI’s reign was the worst of all kings for France. He was the worst and the last king of France. During this time there was a drought in France. But before the drought started France was already spending it's money on the American revolution. So the country couldn't buy food from other countries. The National Assembly was formed because the third estate of France was being left out of important government decisions even thought the were 98% of the population. This assembly was formed to make all people equal and eventually led to a revolution that changed France forever. They created many new laws and made all man equal when they are born. The Vindication of the Rights of Women was a book that symbolized the rights of women. This was one of the first books speaking of equality between women and men. -
Execution of Louis XVI
Louis XVI was straight up a horrible king. He was the worst and the last king of France. He was more interested in the perks of being a king rather then the politics. He would spend tons of money to build golden palaces and to pay for parties that he had often. He would spend money unwisely. That is why the French people began a revolution and killed Louis XVI for his wrongdoings -

The French people executed Marrie Antoinette because she was a spoiled queen who used lots of France's money for her personal gain. She used that money to buy cloths and jewelry instead of using that money to get the poor bread to eat. She was executed during the French revolution. -

Napoleon was the leader that pulled all of France back together after the revolution. His coup over through the current system of government at the time and replaced it with a working thriving one we have today
