Christopher Columbus sailed for Spain in this daring journey which he hoped to find a route from Spain to India. He knew that the world was wrong but he didn't know that America was right in the middle of his path. He thought that when he arrived in North America, India to Columbus, he called the people los indios and landed in San salvador. -

First Enslaved Africans land in America
Slaves in America were treated much differently than in Muslim slavery. In Muslim slavery, slaves had basic rights, they could buy their way out of slavery, and it was not hereditary. However, in America all those rights were forgotten and slaves were treated like animals. This horrible treatment started from when they were taken and while they were on the tight packer, to death. -

When Cortéz took over the Aztec Empire he was very greedy. He opened extremely dangerous silver mines where many indigenous people were killed by the dangerous conditions and diseases. Many countries got very rich from these silver mines, which lead to runaway inflation. -

Jamestown was struggling greatly, but people came because they thought they were thriving and they also wanted religious freedom. The english came to America to settle and make their lives, while The French and the Spanish came for wealth. -

Plymouth was founded by John Smith. Plymouth was founded because a certain religious group, the pilgrims wanted to escape persecution from England. -

The French got destroyed by the British. Most Indians fought on the French side.
