    Cortes Conquers the Aztecs

    The Spanish conquistador Hernan Cortes conquers the Aztec empire after initially being recieved as a god.

    Pizzaro Conquers the Incan Empire

    Another Spanish conquistador, Francisco Pizzaro conquers the Incan empire in Peru.

    Jamestown was the first surviving British settlement in the Americas.

    The Pilgrims came to America and settled in Plymouth because the felt religously oppressed by the Church of England
