Declaration of Independence is signed
This document was important to the U.S. becuase it announced that the 13 collonies were at war with Great Britain, it regarded the 13 colonies as independent states, and it also declared that they were no longer part of the British Empire.This was approved unanimously. It also gave the sodiers more of a reason to fight for the colonies. -
The official signing of the U.S. Constitution
This document is improtant to the U.S. becuase it the supreme law of the land for the U.S. The original document only had 7 Articles. The first three declare the separation of powers into the three branches. The fourth and sixth Article frame the doctrine of federalism defining the relationship between State and State, and between many States and the Federal Government. The fifth Article says how to amend the Constitution. The seventh Article describes the process of ratifying the Constitution. -
The Louisiana Purchase
On April 30, 1803, the land known as the Louisiana purchase was purchased. It was 828,000 square miles and the government bought it for about 15 million dollars. That is about 18 cents an acre! It doubled the sized of the U.S. The land that was bought with the Louisiana Purchase now holds 15 of the U.S. states and two Canadian provinces. -
Indian Removal Act
The Indian Removal Act was an act that President Andrew Jackson signed into law in 1830. It authorized the removal of all indians West of the Mississippi River. This allowed the Americans to expand their land and travel West. -

The Vietnam War was fought between North Vietnam and South Vietnam. North Vietnam was supported by China and other comunist supporters. South Vietnam was supported by the U.S. and other anti-communist supporters. This war impacted the U.S. because we went to war, and any country that is at war is impacted. -

The Cuban Missile Crisis was impacted the U.S. becuase it was a confrontation between the Soviet Union and Cuba on one side and the U.S. on the other, it was a cold war. It is normally regarded as the moment the Cold War came closest to turning into a nuclear conflict. -
Apollo Lands on the Moon
When Apollo landed on the moon, it was a huge success for the U.S. becuase it was the first time man was on the moon. Of the three astronauts in Apollo, Armstrong was the first to step onto the moon. Armstrong and Aldrin together collected 47.5 pounds of lunar material to return to earth. But it would take another eight days to return back to earth. -
My Birthday
I was born on a rainy morning at 12:13 AM at home. The house I was born in was in New Holland actually only a couple of blocks away from the house I live in now. Ever since we stopped mrenting there it has been vacant, but recently it was purchaced. -
Terrorist Attack
The terrorist attacks were absolutly horific events. With a series of four attacks that changed the U.S. forever. Four passengers were on a plane that was hijacked so the terrorists could fly the plane into buildings for a suicide attack mission. Two planes were crashed into the twin towers in New York City. The third plane was crashed into the pentagon in Washington D.C. The fourth plane was on its way to Washington D.C. but crashed when its passengers tried to overcome the hijackers.
