Industrial Revolution
The Industrial Revolution was a transistion to new manufactoring. The war was a major turning point in history because to America, this war caused almost every aspect of daily life was influenced by this. It gave a lot more room for textiles, steam power, and iron making.It also was at a time period when the California Gold rush had taken place in 1849. That place in CA had gotten a lot of people to come to CA to look for either luck or fortune. Many did not find that. -
Missouri Compromise
The Missouri Compromise is the thing that happened right after the Civil war. The compromise is to split a slavery boundary for people to have slaves. The bottom boundry of Missouri is the line where slavery is drawn (north at 36 degrees lattitude). The top half of the bourder are the non-slave states. The bottom are the slave states. This is an important event in U.S history because it gave a fair solution for the slaves to move west and also so they can stop the Civil. -
Cuban Missile Crisis
This begins on October 14, 1962. The Soviet Union wanted to start a conflict between them and the U.S. The Soviet Union had made a plan before to take down Cuba. The Bay of the Pigs Invasion tried to overthrough the government of Fidel Castro.Since the invasion didn't succeed, Cuba thought that the U.S would not strick again. Aparrently, the U.S was planing another attack at that moment. This is what had started to become the Cuban Missile Crisis. This attack took 2 weeks until it ended. -

This is the biggest eruption of mt. st. Helen. This volcano is located inthe southwestern part of Washington. This volcano is about 9,600 ft high. -
Hubble Telescope into orbit
The telescope launched in the Kennedy Space Center LC-39, Florida, U.S. Its mission is to orbit the Earth 23 years, 5 months and 10 days. It is importnt to us because it helps N.A.S.A. see the all of the planents of the solar system. -
