The Declaration of Independence
This event is important to us because if we never had declared our independence, then we would've lived under the king's "wings." If we had been taxed more today because this event never happened, then it would be harder to earn and save money. We would've never had freedom to do what we want, instead we have to have another parent. (AKA the King.) -
U.S. Constitution official Signing
This event is very important to us because we have a safer country and laws. There is more reasonable punishments that most can bear with. We also have a well process working government. -
Cotton Gin Mania!
A man named Eli Whitney created a machine that took cotton seeds seperate from cotton, which he named the Cotton Gin. The Cotton Gin became very helpful and made businesses easier. It also helped slaves collect a larger amount of cotton then they have ever done before. If it wasn't for the Cotton Gin, life couldn't get easier! -

CA GOLD RUSH!!
In 1849 the 'Forty - Niners' traveled all the way from their country to California to have determination to find gold. Many folks either were successful, or unfortunetly, some were out of luck. If James Marshall never found out about the Gold that he discovered a year before, this event would have never existed! There would've not been any people who can actaully find something to do, while at the same time in need of money. -
Stock Market Crash of 1929
The Wall Street and Stock Market Crash in 1929 was the most devestating event in history. It also started a Great Depression that lasted more than 10 years. Nothing could've been done until WWII began. Without WWII then we would've still be stuck in the Great Depression today. -

The date wasn't actaully shown and known, but the Great Depression made money worthless. Money was nothing, it could never been used until WWII ended. It was hard to buy or sell anything because of this event. -
Eruption of Mt. St. Helens 1980
It was the most major erruption in history with Mt. St. Helens volcano. The volcano created quite some damage a well. Without this event, there then would have not been such a famous volcano. -
My Birthday
This event is very important to me because if I wasn't born, I would've never seen the world! I would've never knew about anything in life. My friends and family would have never had a funny, curious person like me. I could not greet and share my personality!!! -
Terrorist Attacks of the Twin Towers
It's important that we remember those who have not surivived during this time of period. We must stand and honor our heros who rather have taken their own life in tragedy, then see someone else go. If no one ever paid attention to this day, then there would've been no support or 9/11.
