The Declaration of Independence was drafted by Thomas Jefferson, who was a great writer. It was a letter declaring in dependence from King George III of Great Britain. It was signed and given to the king, and war was declared between the colonies and Great Britain. Once we had won the war, we had finally declared independence from Britain! -
The official signing of the U.S Constitution
This is the day that the Constitution of the United States was signed. It was a document that made up our NEW government. It was a document that was so good, that the articles of confederation were no more because it was almost a complete failure. The Constitution is so successful that we still use it today. -
Lewis and Clark Expedition
Lewis and Clark were hired to go and discover the new land out West. They were to make lists and journals of everything they saw including Indian tribes, animals, and plants. They brought it back to us so we could learn more about it. -
Indian Removal Act
This was a law passed that made Indian tribes have to leave the new land out West. President Andrew Jackson believed that they should leave the land that is rightfully ours. One tribe went to court about it and it won in their favor, but Jackson passed the law anyway. -

This is a timespan when many people had very little money because of too much money being printed. It began with the stock market crash in 1929. It ended by the U.S going to war in the Pacific and Europe. This war effort rid of the Great Depression. The Great Depression was a period of time when many people could barely live off of the money they had. -
Stock Market Crash of 1929
This marks the day the stock markets crashed and devastated the economy. It began the Great Depression. It lead to huge droughts of money, and many people went poor. -
Cuban Missile Crisis
This marks the day of the Soviet Union crisis. It lasted for 13 days. They brought many nuclear weapons to the U.S. They kept hitting us with missiles, and since it lasted 13 days, it was pretty scary! -
Apollo 11 landing on the moon!
This marks the day of Apollo 11 landing on the moon! This was a huge event for the U.S. Congrats to all the people who made this happen! -
My Birthday
Yay!! I was born! Life is good and I love playing with my toys and just hanging out at my house and sleeping in my crib! I love going to daycare and just being a kid.
