The Declaration of Independence
The Declaration of Independence gave the colonist their first taste of freedom. It gave people their rights to own property, vote and many others that we take forgranted today. They were so scared of Great Britan that they had a very difficult time make this government. -
Signing of constitution
It was held in Phila. and 55 people signed the constitution. It gave equal powers to the three branches of government. The evecutive branch enfores the laws. the president is apart of this branch and he can veto or approve a bill. The legislative makes the laws. The congress (House of Represenative and Senate) can over ride a veto in 2/3 vote. The Judicial decides if a bill or law is unconstitutional. -
LA purchase
The Louisiana purchase doubled the size of America. It was 828,000 square miles. We bought it from the French. Lewis and Clark went on a trail mostly by water to elxpore this land before the people started to move west. They wanted to expand west with farming. -
Trail of Tears
The Trail of Tears was the forced removal of Native Americans also known as Indians. They were moved to OK, the trail was long and harsh, many people died.Andrew Jackson was the guy behind this. The court ruled it unfair and was not going to force the removal of Indians. Andrew was our presidnt at the time and got soliders to move them. -
Stock Market Crash
Many people put in their whole savings into the stock market. All the money lost led to the great depression. It happened to be the deepest and longest economic problem. -

Germany attacking Poland started the world war. America didn't get involed with the war until Japon bombed the pearl harbor. We started to produce lots of tanks and other wepons. -
March on Washington D.C. 'I Have A Dream"
About 250,000 people showed up at Washington D.C. TO hear Martin give the I have a dream speech. Many others gave a speech before him, he was te last person to go that day. He thougt that the people would start to leave, but they stayed. -
Passage of 1964 Civil Rights Act
Everyone was to be treated equal, no matter of religion, sex, or race. Giving every human over the age of 18 the right to vote. It didn't matter what they were or who they have natural rights. -
My Birthday
I have one younger sister and one older brother. I also live with some animals two dogs and a cat. I absolutely love horses; taking riding lessons every week.
