9/11
9/11 was a terrorist attack where 4 planes were hijacked and committed suicide attacks on certain targets. 2 of the planes hit the twin towers of the World Trade Center, 1 hit the Pentagon, and in the last plane, the passengers overcame the hijackers and crashed the plane in a field in Pennsylvania. Almost 3,000 people were killed in the terrorist attacks. -
Hurricane Katrina
Hurricane Katrina made landfall in Louisiana on August 29, 2005. Earlier in the week, the mayor of New Orleans had ordered a mandatory evacuation of the city, although tens of thousands of people did not leave. The hurricane put the city under 10 inches of water, and made rescue operations very difficult. Helicopters had to be used to rescue people. This hurricane was the costliest natural disaster in history. It cost the US 106 billion dollars and killed approximately 1800 people. -
Day I was Born
I was born on May 10, 2006 at 9:00 am. I weighed 5 pounds 15 ounces. I was 19 inches long. My middle name was named after my great grandma. I was born 3 weeks early. -
First Day of Kindergarten
My first day of kindergarten was in August 2011. I was in a class with my best friend, Elliana Francis. We had afternoon kindergarten. Our teacher was Mrs. Ellingson. -
Mt. Rushmore Trip
In July of 2012 me and my family went to Mt. Rushmore for a vacation. We also went to some other places in North and South Dakota. We drove there and stayed in a cabin in the Black Hills. We had an awesome trip! -
KC Royals won the World Series
My mom grew up in the Kansas City Missouri area, and has always been a fan of the Royals. The Royals beat the New York Mets 4 games to 1 from October 27 to November 1, 2015. We watched the World Series, and I actually cut my thumb open during that time. This picture was taken a few years later at a Royals game. -
Broke My Arm
In April of 2018, I was playing soccer with my brother and his friends. I was running to get the ball, and I tried to stop it and tripped over the soccer ball. My arm hurt like crazy, but my dad wouldn't take me to the doctor. A couple of days later we went skiing, and on the last run I fell again on my arm. The next day my mom took me to the doctor, and I had buckle fractured it on both sides. My dad felt so bad he got me chocolate chip cookies. -
First Day of 8th Grade
August 19th was my first day of 8th grade. I had a good time at school that day. I am currently going to Spanish Fork Junior High School.
