D-Day
After midnigt of June 6, 1944 the allies attacked the German defenses. 4,600 invasion aircrafts and warships crossed the English Channel. 1,000 RAF bomber bombed the German denses meanwhile 23,000 British and American soldiers parachuted behind enemy lines. At dawn ships shot massive shelling at the coast and 150,000 allied troops began to come aloong shore 60 miles of the Normandy coast.
