    Before women had the right to vote, they were still paying the same taxes and following the same laws. They had to live in the same society as men, and they did not have a say in any matters that affected them. It was unconstitutional and in many ways, one of which is "taxation without representation". When they won the right to vote, it was a huge victory and it made things just and fair.
