    He was the third President to get assassinated. President Roosevelt took over after the assassination and would lead the country for the next 12 years. McKinley led us through a war with Spain before his death.

    With the U.S. entering WW1 the people aren't sure what to think. Men are getting sent to the military without even wanting to join. Many people are about to lose their lives and not everybody is excited or upset about us joining a big war.

    With women being able to vote they feel like they are seen more as citizens now. They aren't all fighting for rights now because they finally got what they were fighting for. The elections and votes feel more realistic now that everyone is voting now and not just men.

    This invention was also a huge jump in technology at their time. This gave everybody a faster and new way of transportation. People could travel farther and could drive instead of riding bikes or walking. This was a start of a new technology that would start for it to progress through the years.
