Achilles gives Patroclus advice about the war, saying to not charge but to let the Trojans retreat. He also told him to not engage in single combat, and warned him to not seek hector with hand to hand conflict.

Achilles leads Patroclus to his chariot led by a pair of stallions who no man dared to handle except Achilles and Patroclus.

Ajax was trying to crush Hector with his mast, but couldn´t. Meanwhile, the Trojans torched Ajax´s ship.

Hector is about to finish Ajax off, when everyone screams ACHILLES, ACHILLES! Thinking it was him in the chariot but it was Patroclus. The Trojans and Hector fled while Patroclus followed.

Hector stops at a hill and gets shamed by Apollo, who had sent him down as a hero to defeat Achilles. Hector then swears to defeat both Patroclus and Achilles.

With an upward stroke, Hector speared Patroclus through the belly killing him horribly with all of Troy watching.

The two clash weapons and soon Patroclus realized that Hector was stronger. Hector destroys Patroclus´s armor and laughed at his weak foe. As Patroclus tried to fight back.
