Wedding of King Peleus and Thetis
Zeus arranges the wedding of Peleus and Thetis, who are parents of Achilles.The Goddess of Discord was the only god that was not invited because of this she comes down and rolls an apple to the wedding party {the Apple of Discord} the apple beared the words "For the Fairest". The Goddesses Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite all see the apple and want it, but Zeus could not chose who to give it to. -

Jugment of Paris
Zeus then throws the apple out of Olympus and Paris who is wandering around Troy see's the apple and pick's it up and read's the word's on the apple when he finishes reading the words the three Goddesses appear and make Paris choose to who the apple goes to. Each of the Goddesses offer something to Pairs in exchange Pairs must give the apple to the Goddess that win's. Aphrodite wins the contest and in exchange Paris the most beautiful woman in the world. -

Paris goes to take Helen from Menelaus, King of Sparta
Helen was married to Menelaus, king of Sparta. Paris, son of King Priam of Troy, fell in love with Helen took her back to Troy. The Greeks assembled a great army to retrieve Helen. -

The Trojan War begins
With Menelaus away his bother Agamemnon takes to the sea with 1,186 ships and more than one hundred thousand men to look and take back Helen. -

The war has ended and now starts the adventure of Odysseus
The date is not exact but to not separate the timeline I put that date and from now on the date's will not be accurate. So, when the Greeks won the Trojan War Odysseus started his journey by boat to his homeland Ithaca with others accompanying him. But little did he know all that was going to happen to him and his men throughout the journey. -

The Lotus eaters
Beginning his journey Odysseus and his men encounter an island and Odysseus tells three of his men to go and investigate if the natives are a threat. The three men met the natives and the natives gave them lotus to eat but three men that ate the flower forgot about home and didn't want to leave the place. Odysseus then goes and drags the tree men back to the ship. -

The Island of Clyclopes
Continuing his journey Odysseus encounters an island full of cyclopes. He then "parks" his boat on the island and goes with a group of his men to investigate if the cyclopes are friends or foes. While on the island the enter the den of a cyclops there they get trapped and the cyclops eats many of his men. finally, Odsseyues and the rest of his men figure out a way to escape and they finally do and then continue their journey. -

The Wind King
After the terror of the cyclopes, Odysseus and his men encounter another island on this island good things happened. They find the king of wind named Aeolus. And the wind king is nice to them and gives them two parting gifts one of the gifts was a fair west wind that would blow them toward Ithaca and a bag full of the unfavorable stormy winds. -

But one night as they were on there way home Odysseus fell asleep and his men were curious about what was in the bag {for they did not know the contents of it } and upon opening the bag the stormy winds came out and blow them back to the island that hosted the wind king. But the wind king thinking their voyage was cursed did not offer his help to them anymore. -

The Grace of the Witch 1
Continuing their journey the men encounter an island of cannibals. The cannibals then throw rocks at the crew but they escaped. And got to another island where they found the home of the goddess Circe. Odysseus divided the rest of his men into two groups. One group led by Eurylochus went to go to the house of Circe, when they got there Circe invited them in to have a meal and some wine but Eurylochus is suspicious so he stays behind. -

Eurylochus was right to stay behind because he saw when Circe put poison in the wine cups of the men and when the men drink the wine they turned into pigs. Eurylochus went back to Odysseus and told him what had happened. Odysseus then went to get his men back on the way he met the god Hermes, Hermes then gave Odysseus a magical plant to protect him from the power of Circe and tells Odysseus to make the goddess swear she won't play any tricks. -

When Odysseus got to Circe's house he drank the wine but the poison in it did not affect him. In the end, Odysseus got his men back and they all {except Eurylochus} stayed with Circe in her house before continuing there journey. -

The way home
Odysseus and his men go to the underworld to speak to someone who gives them directions to go home and the man also gives his warnings about the way. Odysseus then say's goodbye and takes his leave. On the way home Odysseus covers his men's ear with beeswax so that they can't hear the song of the sirens but as for him his men tie him to the middle of the boat so that he may hear the song of the sirens but not dive in with them. -

Then they headed towards Scylla when they met her six of Odysseus men died. After that, they came upon yet another island that belonged to Helios the sun god. There he had much cattle but Odysseus was warned that if he or his men eat from the cattle the sun god would get revenge. But Odysseus men did not listen to the waring and eat the cattle. The sun god gets angry and say's that the men have to pay him but Zeus then {to satisfy the anger of the sun god} send a lighting blot and sinks the ship -

Then after Odysseus's boat has sunk he and his men drift to Ogyia. There Calypso keeps him for seven years on her island. And that's where I have ended my reading. I hope you enjoyed. Thank you very much for reading. -
