i can't wait to see the real world and the statue of liberty. i was starving when i traveled with my parents. i wanted a job so bad that i was about to scream. mom, dad, and i hope to gain a ton of money. the purpose of writing this is to my friends at home. we came to america for a better life.

the statue of liberty is wonderful. i want a look. is that steel? oh, steel is like melted metal to make i-beams, and other molds. man, i want to walk inside the statue of liberty. it might be magnetic when i walk inside.

working in a steel mill

i finally got a job working in a steel mill. this goes on to march 31, 1910. i earn gold as my reward, awesome. man, i'm so proud that my family can earn gold, trade the gold for money, and get food and education.
