This act Taxed glass, lead, paint, paper, and tea. Colonists rioted over this and the British then stopped all the taxes but the tea. -
Boston Massacre
A colonist mob portested British taxes and the British soldiers shot into the crowd, wounding 5 people and killing one. -
Boston Tea Party
The Sons of Liberty dressed up as Mohawk Indians and boarded ships in the Boston Harbor and threw tea in the sea to protest the British tax on tea.
