Trading with the Dutch
Based on the slaves trading, they also traded with the Dutch and well they imported African Americans to different farms and they also they had a law which says that the free slaves that had children were still considered slaves no matter what. -
A New Slave State
The state Massachusetts is now considered a slave state. -
The Quakers come in....
This shows how the Quakers come and they sign a Anti- slavery resolution, which is a protest (first one) to stop slavery. And when the slaves are importing the Quakers threaten the whites -
A new Parlament
A new Parliment was written for the to trade with the British and what they did was that they traded with the African, American whites, and what the british traded was rum and the whites traded sugar. -
A new Law of the Court
Well there was a new law that was for the court and what it said was the "blacks were FORBIDDEN to serve as witnesses, miltitary, or anything that has to do with the government. -
A Slave Revolts
Well on New York a slave ends up causing a uprising and well he killed six whites and he had to pay the price so they hanged him and they hanged 12 blacks -
No Blacks Can Vote
There was a new law that was passed that free blacks who lived in free states were not allowed to vote or were not allowed to have weapons of any sort. This was passed in Virgina in the South. -
A new Religon for the Blacks
Although blacks were off trading some left to other places with their own beliefs. Some blacks were christians and they were allowed to preach but others won't because the whites thought by letting the blacks preach then they would start an uprising and would cause something. The blacks had to keep it a sercet from their masters. -
Slave traders are kicked out!!
Quakers found out that four thousand slaves had arrived and most of them were own by English, Welish, and Scottish-Irish people; in Pennsylvania and they were furious so what they did was that they excluded the slave owners from their group. -
A Free Country
The War ended against the british and well the United States had won so they won the Declaration of Independence. But there was still slavery during that time. -
Cotton Gin
The cotton gin was made in 1793 and is was the first the mechinical modern to help the slaves. The man who invented the cotton gin was Eli Whitney. But was not appoved until 1807 -
The Missori Compromise
Based on this event was about how the state wanted to be a slve state but they passed a law where the North Union did not want any slave states beyond latitude 36.30. So they wouldn't confuse any whites or blacks. -
A Emancipation Act passed
This act shows how it became a law by demanding that the slaves would be free after four years of a owner trading from time to time by the British Empire -
Slavery ends for the Blacks
Slavery ends when the civil war ends and when Abraham Lincoln ends it by passing on a new amendent which was the 13 but he shortly died when he was in a play with his wife.
