  • The Grand Tour

    The Grand Tour
    The Grand Tour is a foreign travel commonly undertaken by gentlemen who were very rich, mainly the sons of the aristocracy to finish off their education. Getting the privilege to absorb the cultures they were visiting and improve their language skills. The Grand Tour was unique as it was fashionable to have your portrait painted, usually at the end of the Tour. The finished project has not be continued due to the outbreak of the Napoleonic wars.   • The Dar al-Hajar (The Rock Palace)

    The Dar al-Hajar (The Rock Palace)
    Dar al-Hajar is a royal, five stories high palace situated in Wadi Dhar, 15 km from the capital city of Sana, Yemen. This palace was built as a summer residence in the 1930 but was also a pre-existing structure built in the 1786 by Al-Lmam. The Rock Palace is unique as it has develop out of the tall natural rocks on which it is constructed and it has the characteristic painting of its windows and edges. It is now an attraction sight for tourists. Cost: Fixed

    Karolyi Castle
    The Romanian towns of Carei and Ardud, located in the north-western Transylvania. At the centre of Carei is the historic Karolyi Castle, a brilliant example of Transylvanian architecture. Originally constructed as a fortress in the 14th century, it was changed into a castle in 1794. To this day, It is still standing for tourists to explore the history behind The Karolyi Castle.     Madam Tussaud
    Madam Tussauds is a museum built in London to showcase wax sculptures by Madam Tussaud. Madam Tussauds is unique as it was the only museum of it's era to showcase such art. The museum itself is ongoing but opening the project and creating the sculptures to showcase was a temporary as once the opening had occurred the museum continued with daily activities. The finished project was a successful museum that still stands today. Cost: Fixed

    Nile Cruise
    The Nile Cruise was a passenger trip along the River Nile offered and executed by Thomas Cook to expand tourism in his travel company. The Nile Cruise was unique as it offered travel to Africa and Egypt to Europeans who had never been able to do this before. The Cruise was only offered for a limited time making it temporary. It was considered successful. Cost: Fixed

    Eiffel Tower
    The Eiffel Tower was built by Compagnie des Étasblissements Eiffel as a centrepiece for the world fair to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the French revolution.
    The Eiffel Tower is unique as it is the only structure like this in the world built specifically for the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. The project was temporary over the 6 year timeframe that is was erected and became a successful centrepiece that still stands today. Cost: Accepted

    The RMS Titanic
    The RMS Titanic was a passenger ship built by Thomas Andrews to be the worlds largest luxury ship of it's time. The Titanic was unique as there had been no ship built to this scale before to hold passengers. Executing the creation of the ship was temporary as it would be the only kind to be built like it. On it's first sailing in 1912 the Titanic Sank killing over 1,500 people, the project was not successful. Cost: Accepted

    Sky Tower
    The Sky Tower was built in Auckland by Harrah's entertainment as an entertainment complex.
    The project was unique as it is the 12th tallest building in the world and tallest in NZ built to resist earthquakes and winds. Once the Sky Tower was built it will never needed to be built again. It was a successful project as it served its purpose as an entertainment complex and still stands today resisting New Zealand's Earthquakes and severe weather. Cost: Accepted

    Te Papa
    Te Papa is a museum built by Wellington City Council in Wellington to house the growing Dominion Museum & National Art Gallery that no longer reflected the diverse culture of NZ.
    The museum is unique as it is houses exhibitions that aren't available elsewhere, once the museum was built it was permanent therefore making this project temporary as it never needs to be executed again. The building is successful popular New Zealand tourist attraction. Cost: Optimised

  • The Christchurch Adventure Park

    The Christchurch Adventure Park
    The Christchurch Adventure Park was executed by the Urban Group and The New Zealand Government to create an adrenaline fuelled activity option for individuals. The park is unique as it is the first adventure park in Christchurch. Once constructed, the park would be ready for use and not have to be repeated. The park is now used for recreational activities by both tourisms and Christchurch residents. Cost: Fixed

  • Repairs on Christchurch Gondola

    Repairs on Christchurch Gondola
    Repair and safety upgrade on the Chch Gondola was executed by Skyline Enterprises to reverse the damages caused by the 2011 Earthquakes. The repairs to the gondola were described as a first for NZ for this type of mitigation work making in unique. The project is temporary as once carried out the repairs will not need to be executed again as they were only necessary due to damage. The gondola has been updated safely and the project was successful.

  • Skyline Luge

    Skyline Luge
    The Skyline Luge in Tongyeong was executed by Skyline Enterprises to provide a tourist attraction in South Korea of a luge complex for entertainment purposes. The luge is a one of construction and the first luge in South Korea and provides the worlds second longest track at 1.5km. The luge was successful and attracted thousands during it's opening week.
