Thucydides wrote the history of the Peloponnesian War and his version is still the single most significant account of the war to this day. -

Peloponnesian War
The Peloponnesian War between the Spartans who allied with the Persians and the Athens. This war had a big impact all across Greece causing changes in the way Poleis set up their armies. The war ended in 404 BCE. -

Alexander the Great became king and immediately started working his way towards taking over Persia. He began fighting and winning many battles. -
