    In the 13th century, Aristotles works were found and recognized by the European church. This was important because they learned of his method of understanding complex texts, such as the Bible. They were able to use this information to understand the Bible in a different, and more concise, way.

    The Latin church became corrupt when the higher up members decided they valued money over respecting their positions. This corruption got to the point where nobelmen could buy their sons positions in the church for them to be well off.
