The First Electronic Toaster
The first electric toaster was invented by Alan MacMasters from Edinburgh, Scotland. The first toaster produced, the Eclipse, had iron used to heat the toast. The iron would melt over time, resulting in a short lifespan for the product.

The Perc-O-Toaster was a combination to make toast and coffee. It didn't seem to be successful, hence why there aren't anymore produced.
