In this chapter, we are introduced to Charles Baker Harris, also known as Dill. He likes to lie to impress people and play with Jem and Scout. He likes to play even when the odds may not be in his favor. -
Scout has her first day of school
In this chapter Scout starts school. She is mildly excited for her first day of school, until she meets Ms. Caroline. Scout loves reading and is very educated. Ms. Caroline doesn't like that. She wants Scout to stop reading because Ms. Caroline wants to do the teaching. Scout no longer likes school. -
Scout doesn't want to go to school
